EU Green Week is the key event in the EU environment policy calendar. Organized by the Directorate-General for Environment of the European Commission, the conference is an annual opportunity to debate and discuss European environmental policy.
It attracts policymakers, leading environmentalists, stakeholders, and other interested parties from across Europe and the globe.EU Green Week enhances public understanding of EU environmental policies, features debates about their future development, and improves the overall image of the EU among citizens and stakeholders throughout Europe.
In addition to a high-level conference in Brussels, EU Green Week 2024 will also include a series of partner events organized across Europe. These events will extend involvement, and contributions from a wide variety of sectors around the EU are anticipated.EU Green Week 2024 will take place in a hybrid format on Wednesday 29 May and Thursday 30 May 2024.
The theme for this edition is water resilience, focusing on the necessary measures to enhance the EU’s water resilience now and in the future.
Partner events can be organized from 29 May till 1 September 2024, broadening the scope of engagement. Conference registration will open in April.
